Audit log

Activity record: who did what, and when.

The audit module records system activity automatically: every relevant action is logged with who did it, what changed and when.

What gets recorded

  • Creating, editing and deleting products, customers, coupons and other entities.
  • Sales and order status changes.
  • Settings changes.
  • Issuing tax documents.

Viewing the activity log

  1. Go to Audit in the panel menu.
  2. You'll see a chronological list of events, with the user responsible, the action and the date and time.
  3. You can filter by user, action type or date range.
  4. Click an event to see the detail of the changes (previous and new values).

What it's for

  • Internal control: knowing what each employee did (who changed a price, who cancelled a sale).
  • Settling questions: reconstructing what happened when something doesn't add up (stock that doesn't match, a price that changed).
  • Security: spotting actions outside the norm.

Note: the log is automatic — it needs no configuration, and users can't switch it off or delete their own activity.
