Coupons and promotions

The system has three promotion tools: discount coupons, seasonal promotions and flash sales.

Creating a coupon#

1. Go to Promotions → Coupons → New coupon.
2. Set:
   • Code: the text the customer will enter (e.g. DISCOUNT10)
   • Discount type: percentage or fixed amount
   • Value: the percentage or amount to take off
   • Minimum purchase amount: the floor for using the coupon
   • Usage limit: how many times it can be used in total
   • Expiry date
3. Save the coupon.

Coupons can be applied both in the online store cart and on a POS sale.

Seasonal promotions#

• Under Promotions → Promotions you can create special offers.
• You choose the products on offer and the promotional price.

Flash sales#

• Flash sales are time-limited promotions, with a countdown visible in the store.
• They're set up under Promotions → Flash Sales: you pick the products, the discount and the time window.
